1. As you are about to sit on your seat, smooth your skirt under you, so when you are in the sitting position you skirt will not be crushed. Never sit with your legs apart.
2. When you are seated, gracefully slide your left foot behind the right one, so they cross at the ankles. Place both feet, slightly to the right, placing your left heel slightly to the rear.
3. Make sure your lower back is firmly against the back of the chair. This encourages your whole body to be straight. Do not slouch in your chair, but sit erect. Gently roll your shoulders back.
4. Take a deep breathe and relax.
