Full Feminine Skirts

There is something incredibly feminine and graceful about a full skirt.  When I brought my first recently, I (almost) drifted back to my girlhood years when I used to delightfully spin around and watch the pleats flair outwards.  I am so excited to see that full-skirts are right on trend at the moment and are popping up in stores all across town in a plethora of gorgeous summery shades and patterns.  Not only is this silhouette perfect for summer but a great trend to carry through winter with a knit top and a pair of heels.

Below is a collection of gorgeous styles and colours to get you inspired!

  1. Despite the fact that I was born in 1975 and am the son of a woman that loves to wear pants so much she bought HER mother her first pair of pants and looks back at growing up in Los Angeles at a time when girls were mandated to wear skirts and dresses to school with no sense of nostalgia, I’m old school; I feel females should NOT wear pants or shorts. I like feminine females. Clare, you wrote such a great article, and I agree with your article so much, that if I ever get the pleasure to meet you in person, I want to greet you with a hug hello. Your article is proof that you are too good a lady to shake hands with.

  2. I just came across your blog, and I love it! It is so refreshing to see another young woman who values graceful femininity. I love that all of the pictures you share show modest outfits. I am 24, and I have been wearing pretty, modest dresses everyday for over a year now. It started out as a fascination with the classy fashions of the past…and then when I started reading the Bible and I learned about godly femininity, I realized that dressing modestly is more than just a style preference. It is something that I NEED to do to show respect for God, for my family, for the people around me, and for myself.

    • Polly, I wish more females were like you! In fact, Dt.22:5 proves that men and women should not dress alike; that means that pants and shorts should not be worn by females. Keep up the good work! God Bless you.
